Client Spotlight: City of El Cajon’s “Addressing Homelessness” StoryMap and Dashboards Featured in the San Diego Union-Tribune 

The City of El Cajon, a Quartic client, was recently featured in The San Diego Union-Tribune for the city’s forward-thinking approach to addressing homelessness. Its “Addressing Homelessness” StoryMap and embedded, interactive dashboards give residents access to daily data on homelessness, including related police incidents, cleanup activities, and response time spent by police. 
 
Quartic automated the dashboards’ daily data refresh, ensuring new information is integrated each day and that the public always has access to the most current data. This automation supports a near real-time understanding of homelessness trends and helps city staff make data-driven decisions to better serve the community.
